PEST CONTROL
WHAT IS CEPA?
A CEPA (Confederation of European Pest Management Associations), created in 1974 represents the control professionals of_cc781905-5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad_5cf58d in various countries of Europe. It is a work of sharing experiences with professionals in the pest control sector(Ex: ANCPU) with a view to promoting the health of the population in the context of more sustainable and healthy spaces.
WHAT IS EN 16636?
The EN 16636 standard was developed by CEPA in order to professionalize the pest management sector. In Portugal there is a gap in which companies have the skills to carry out pest control. In this way, compliance with the standard also ensures compliance with operational requirements and recommendations, seeking to reduce health risks for customers and society in general, as well as reducing negative impacts on the environment. and animal welfare.
DOES A CERTIFIED COMPANY GUARANTEE BETTER SERVICE?
As there are good and bad service providers in everything, certification guarantees that the requirements of EN 16636 are implemented and therefore that the company is not surprised when they are asked, for example, for a trend analysis, operator training, or other CEPA requirements that are also GFSI requirements (BRC Standards, IFS, FSSC22000, etc).
WHO IS CERTIFIED MEETS ALL GFSI REQUIREMENTS?
The benchmarks recognized by the GFSI (The Global Food Safety Initiative), the organization of retailers that approves the requirements and standards that comply with it, including BRC, IFS, FSSC22000, SQF, GlobalG.AP, etc., presents a series of requirements that vary slightly but with the same purpose. Otherwise services such as trend analysis are charged as an extra service, something that has to be considered in the award.
In any case, the requirements of the 3 references obtained free of charge must be considered:
IFS Food V7 - Requirement 4.13
BRC Food V8 - Requisito 4.14 - Must be purchased but if you choose Free PDF it costs £0.00
ISO/TS 22002-1:2009 - Requirement 12
